Rathaus Pankow (Council of Pankow)
The council of Pankow is the administrative building of the second-largest district of Berlin.
The original building, located at the former East-Berlin, was built in 1901-1903 according to designs of Wilhelm Johow in a mixture of different styles such as neo-Gothic, neo-Baroque and elements typical of the beginning 20th century. A extension was built in 1927-1929 following the plans of Alexander Poeschke and Rudolf Klante.
The entire complex has been declared a Historic Monument since the 1970s.
